World Wetlands Day at Osprey House
Wetlands are disappearing three times faster than forests, making their conservation more critical than ever. To mark World Wetlands Day, Osprey House is hosting an educational and engaging event with Ocean Life Education.
Visitors can discover the vital role wetlands play in supporting Moreton Bay ecosystems and global environments. The day features drop-in activities, including wetlands-themed crafts and guided walks through the mangroves, offering a closer look at these unique habitats.
Ocean Life Education will also present interactive displays and touch tanks, providing a hands-on sensory experience that’s fun for all ages.
This event offers an exciting opportunity to learn about wetlands and how everyone can contribute to protecting these essential ecosystems.
This event is suitable for ages 6 and over.
