Lifeline Bookfest – Brisbane’s Biggest Book Sale Returns!
Book lovers, mark your calendars! Lifeline Bookfest is back and bigger than ever, running from Saturday, 28 June to Sunday, 6 July at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. Doors open at 7:30 am on the first day, then daily from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. Entry is completely free, so bring your friends, family, or just your best book bag!
Wander through two massive halls overflowing with treasures, from hardback and paperback novels to children’s books, biographies, sci-fi, fantasy, history, Australiana, and more. Looking for more than just books? Discover an amazing selection of craft and hobby guides, puzzles, games, CDs, magazines, stationery, and the exciting ComicFest zone, packed with collectables, comics, vintage computer console games, and trading cards.
There’s something for every budget with two pricing sections: the $2.50 Hall, where every item is just $2.50, and the High-Quality Hall, where books are individually priced and lovingly curated.
Need a break? Head to the chill-out lounge to rest your feet, then recharge with delicious food and drinks available for purchase. EFTPOS is preferred, but cash is accepted. You can also grab a Lifeline Enviro Bag for just $1, and trolleys are available to help carry your haul.
Parking is available onsite, and the venue is easily accessible by bus or rail.
