Moreton Bay Emergency Services Expo @ Bribie Island
Bribie Island will host an action-packed day of community connection and education at the Emergency Services Expo. This family-friendly event brings together a wide range of emergency service organisations, offering visitors a chance to explore the vital work they do to keep the community safe.
Guests can get up close with emergency vehicles and equipment, sound the sirens in a police car, try using the fire hose on a rural fire truck, step inside an ambulance, and discover what it takes to be an SES volunteer. There will be plenty of opportunities to meet the dedicated men and women behind these services and learn how to get involved.
Children will enjoy interactive and educational activities, while exciting activations and on-water displays add to the day’s highlights. Visitors can watch impressive firefighting demonstrations, learn about life-saving medical procedures from paramedics, and gain hands-on experience through simulations and mock rescue scenarios.
Food trucks will be on site, offering a variety of cuisines to keep everyone fuelled throughout the day.
The Emergency Services Expo is a chance for families to meet local heroes, pick up valuable safety skills, and enjoy a fun, informative day out. Dogs are welcome but must remain on a lead at all times.
