100 Years of Brisbane Public Transport @ Brisbane Tramway Museum
The Brisbane Tramway Museum is celebrating 100 years of Brisbane public transport with a special event that commemorates the city’s journey from horse-drawn trams to today’s modern Metro. Visitors can enjoy a unique experience by riding a horse-drawn tram, several electric trams, a diesel bus and an electric bus, and by inspecting a Metro – all in one afternoon.
The event will also feature a coffee wagon, ice creams, donuts, a sausage sizzle, cold drinks and simple games for everyone to enjoy.
Proceeds support the Brisbane Tramway Museum’s ongoing work to restore, preserve and operate Brisbane’s historic tram fleet for future generations.
