Celebrate the opening of Questacon’s Fascinating Science exhibition with a hands-on family fun day at the Bribie Island Seaside Museum, packed with discovery, puzzles, wildlife and cultural experiences for all ages.
The day centres around the Fascinating Science exhibition, which explores everyday scientific principles through interactive challenges designed to spark curiosity. Visitors can solve puzzles involving logic, balance, illusions and mathematics, making it a fantastic activity for kids, teens and adults alike.
Alongside the exhibition, there is a fantastic lineup of additional experiences to enjoy throughout the day.
- Step inside the Tribal Link mobile classroom, filled with cultural resources, art and artefacts, and participate in stories, songs, music and dance, all connected to a special STEM focus tied to the themes of the exhibition.
- Wildlife Unleashed will also be on site, giving visitors the chance to get up close to an incredible range of Australian animals including snakes, lizards, a saltwater crocodile and birds, with presenters on hand to share fascinating facts about each one.
- Representatives from the Bribie Island National Park Turtle Conservation Group will also be in attendance to share how turtle tracks are identified, nests are protected and monitoring is carried out to support the conservation of these remarkable marine creatures.
Entry is free for all ages, with a free sausage sizzle included on the day. Bookings are required.
