Celebrate Navy 125 at the Navy Open Day this May 2026 at the Port of Brisbane. This free, family-friendly event invites Brisbane kids and parents to explore Defence attractions, welcome the HMAS Brisbane, and enjoy live music, face painting, and food. Bookings are required for the timed entry sessions.

Navy Open Day 2026

HMAS Moreton opens its doors to the public to celebrate Navy 125, welcoming HMAS Brisbane alongside for a fantastic day of family-friendly activities. Visitors can explore Defence attractions, browse supporting agency stalls, enjoy a sausage sizzle, face painting, and entertainment from the RAN Band Queensland throughout the day.

The event runs in one-hour sessions and bookings are required. Guests should arrive at least 15 minutes before their selected time slot to allow for coach transfer from the parking area to the wharf. Parking is available on Bishop Drive between Port Drive and Lucinda Drive, with coaches running between the car park and wharf entry point. Please note there is no direct access to the wharf.

All guests must wear enclosed footwear, and bag checks will be conducted prior to boarding the coach and on the wharf.
