Celebrate Queensland’s military and natural history at Fort Lytton National Park (Historic), the July Park of the Month with Parks Connect. This month’s event takes things in a different direction, exploring Queensland’s past at this fascinating historic site overlooking the mouth of the Brisbane River.
The day’s program offers something for everyone, from birdwatching to history to wellbeing, with tickets required for starred activities.
Program Highlights:
Urban Bird Bingo Walk with Frank from Birds Queensland (*ticket required): 10:00am – 11:00am.
Fort Lytton History Tour with QPWS Ranger Daley (*ticket required): 11:00am – 12:00pm.
Laughter and Breathwork Session with Kamal from Ignite Holistic Wellness (*ticket required): 12:00pm – 1:00pm
Visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the unique setting of this historic park. Tickets for starred events can be booked online.
