Alive in the Sunshine: A Mt Coot-tha Festival is a celebration of Brisbane and the people who make it a wonderful place to live. Friends and family are invited to come along and soak up some good vibes in the gardens.
With everything going on in the world, it’s easy to lose sight of the things that make life beautiful. In an era of smartphone dependence and unchecked AI growth, more and more people are missing meaningful connection to their community and to nature. That’s what Alive in the Sunshine is all about: friends, family, and good vibes in the gardens.
There will be plenty to do, from sampling market stalls and delicious food trucks, to taking a guided tour of the gardens, listening to brilliant Brisbane musicians on the lawn, or having a sundowner at the bar nestled in the forest. Kids won’t be left out either, with a dedicated kids’ area featuring a jumping castle, face painting, games, kids’ shows and more.
