Celebrate classic surf culture at the Surf Show & Shine Sunshine Coast this September 2026. Held at Mooloolaba State School, this community event features a display of up to 100 Kombis and Beetles, live bands, street food, and fun kids’ activities, offering families a great coastal day out.

Presented by the Rotary Club of Alexandra Headland and Cricks Volkswagen Sunshine Coast, Surf Show & Shine is a celebration of Kombis, VWs and classic surf culture on the Sunshine Coast.
The event features a VW show with up to 100 Kombis and Beetles on display, with Best in Show and People’s Choice Awards up for grabs. Saturday night kicks things off with a Kombi parade, overnight camping, and a BBQ, before Sunday brings a full day of live local bands from 8am to 2:30pm, street food, kids’ activities, and Kombi, VW and surf merchandise for sale.
Early registration comes with a bonus t-shirt.
