Rich in history and big on community spirit, Brothers Leagues Club Ipswich at Raceview has cemented its position as a family favourite among locals. Located in rugby heartland, it has built a reputation on serving up good, pub-style food while also keeping the kids in mind with a super modern and interactive play area.
The Space

Brothers Leagues Club Ipswich is nicely presented with contemporary finishes and multiple dining options including a restaurant, café and sports bar.
The spacious main restaurant consists of long, low tables and comfortable lounge seating allowing for the use of highchairs, prams and wheelchairs. It is also suitable for large group celebrations such as birthdays although be sure to book ahead to secure a table.
Alfresco dining is available in an enclosed balcony space which is thankfully air-conditioned to maximise comfort during those scorching hot Ipswich summers.
Most importantly (well at least if you’re visiting with little ones!), is the newly refurbished kids’ playroom which is located at the back of the restaurant. We’ll touch on this some more in the detailed section below.
The Kids’ Menu

As far as kids’ menus go, this one is quite comprehensive offering seafood, pasta and steak alongside the ever popular nuggets and burger options. The “Wee Leprechauns” meal prices vary quite considerably in price from $13 to $20 and unfortunately do not include a drink or dessert (current as of October 2026). Most of the meals come with a colourful and refreshing side salad, adding a welcomed nutritional boost.
The club also often runs promotional deals such as “kids eat free on Monday” providing some relief to the hip pocket. Colouring-in pages are on offer to help occupy little hands while waiting for food or taking a break from the play area.
The Parent Factor

Grown up visitors can expect a relaxed and friendly atmosphere which accommodates the needs of the whole family. The state of the art playroom is obviously a major drawcard, and in conjunction with the extensive menu and generous portions, this venue has all the ingredients for an enjoyable day out.
The meal and drink prices are probably on par with other modern sporting clubs, although do seem slightly expensive especially for non-members. The menu, which is broken up into several categories including land, sea, pasta, salad, grill, burger and pizzas, has very broad appeal and is likely to suit a variety of dietary requirements. You can also pop into the café from 10am to enjoy a hot cuppa and some lighter, more reasonably priced meal options.
The Kids’s Room

While dedicated kids’ rooms in pubs and taverns are nothing new, this space themed playroom is more like a mini indoor play centre than a playground. Glowing, neon lighting and vibrantly, flashing ‘launch pad’ slide are instantly appealing to young explorers. Designed for kids aged 10 and under, it is complete with climbing obstacles, swinging equipment, exciting digital floor games and tactile toddler puzzles.
The cute, cosmic vibe is represented by a host of Australian animal astronauts who can also be found in the free colouring-in sheets provided. This epic play space provides a physical outlet for active bodies while also promoting the opportunity for social development.
The room is surrounded by glass walls allowing for the required adult supervision, in addition to surveillance screens which can be viewed from the dining area.
