Christmas Toy and Book Swap
Share in the spirit of giving at the Christmas Toy and Book Swap in Tarragindi this November 2026. Local families can browse free children’s toys and books, enjoy festive craft stations, and swap gently used items or gifts in a relaxed community space focused on sustainability and connection.
Christmas Toy and Book Swap
The Christmas Toy and Book Swap is a free, community-led toy, book and gift swap, with a morning of giving, sharing, crafting and connection in the lead-up to Christmas. Everyone is welcome.
Families can browse free kids’ toys, books and more, while children enjoy a craft station. It is a relaxed space to meet other local families, with refreshments on offer.
Anyone who can is invited to bring up to 10 clean, good-quality toys or books, and up to three gifts that mums and dads would like, such as toiletries or books, for children to choose and give to their parents. Items are handed to volunteers on arrival, then checked in and weighed so the organisers can track the impact of the swap. Browsing can start straight away.
There is no token system. The idea is to take what you need and give what you can, and anyone with nothing to swap is still welcome.
