Celebrate Japanese culture at the return of Sakurafest, back for its second year after a hugely popular debut in 2025. This family-friendly community festival brings together delicious Japanese food, cultural experiences and entertainment for an afternoon and evening of fun.
Enjoy a vibrant Japanese market atmosphere with authentic food and drinks, traditional stalls, and exciting stage performances throughout the day. Kids can head to the dedicated children’s corner for fun activities, while adults can explore Japanese whisky and sake booths.
There will also be a relaxed “Chat Time” space where visitors can practise Japanese or English and meet new people. New for 2026 is a fun sticker activity — choose a sticker that says “I want to speak Japanese” or “I want to speak English” and wear it during the event to help spark conversations and make new friends.
Bring the whole family along for a day of culture, connection and community.
