This free community event offers Brisbane families an exciting day trip packed with handmade art stalls, live performances, and fun kids activities like a petting zoo and face painting, making it a perfect weekend outing.

A Fair Day Out 2026

A Fair Day Out is a free celebration of inclusion, creativity and community at the iconic Eumundi Markets. Since its humble beginnings in 2013, the event has grown every year, bringing people of all abilities together to showcase their artistic talents alongside their peers in one of Queensland’s premier artisan settings.

On the day, visitors can browse art stalls full of handmade creations, join in free “Come and Try” art activities, and enjoy live music and performances. There’s also plenty for families, with face painting, games and a petting zoo on offer.

Whether you are creating art, meeting local artists or just soaking up the atmosphere, A Fair Day Out is a fun, free and family-friendly day out for all ages, celebrating inclusion and creativity for the whole community.
