AO by the River

This summer, South Bank becomes Brisbane’s official Australian Open Live Site with AO by the River, bringing the excitement of the tournament to River Quay and transforming the riverside precinct into a hub to watch, play and enjoy the Australian Open atmosphere.

From Friday 23rd January to Sunday 1st February 2026, visitors can enjoy live big-screen tennis action, interactive Pop Tennis and Pickleball courts, and AO-inspired food from a range of popular riverside venues, all set against Brisbane’s city skyline.

Presented in partnership with Tennis Australia, Channel 9 and Stan Sport, AO by the River offers a relaxed and engaging way to experience the Australian Open, whether cheering on the world’s best players, testing skills on the courts, or spending time with friends and family by the river.
