Brisbane Youth Week 2026
Brisbane Youth Week is a vibrant celebration showcasing the talents, voices, and contributions of young people aged 12 to 25. Running from 11-19 April, this annual event will feature an exciting lineup of performances, workshops, and activities across the city.

Amplify Youth: Spectrum of Becoming is a creative media workshop held during Queensland Youth Week. Young participants explore identity and personal growth through short-form video storytelling. This inclusive event provides a safe space to develop technical skills, build confidence, and share unique perspectives while connecting with other young creatives.

Youth Voices & Futures Festival

Skate Concepts
Skate Concepts (with Pickleball)

This inclusive program combines professional skateboarding coaching with pickleball. Young people of all skill levels can learn fundamentals and new tricks in a supportive environment. The session focuses on building confidence, staying active, and connecting with others through a blend of high-energy skating and social sports.
Skate Concepts (with Basketball)
Time: Wednesday, 15 April 2026, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM, Location: Paddington Skate Park, 113 Caxton St, Paddington.
This session pairs professional skateboarding lessons with basketball activities. Designed for beginners and experienced riders alike, the program encourages participants to develop technical skills and try new tricks. It offers a fun, safe space for youth to build physical confidence while enjoying fast-paced team sports and community connection.
Skate Concepts (Final Session)

The final installment of the Skate Concepts series continues to offer youth-led skateboarding workshops alongside social sports. Participants receive expert guidance to master the basics or refine advanced tricks. Like the previous sessions, it emphasizes participation, skill development, and “good vibes” to help young people thrive and stay active.
