Darlington State School Markets & The Great Duck Race

Tucked in the scenic hills of the Lost World Valley, the Darlington State School Markets are a country day out with heart — where community spirit, laughter, and local goodness come together.

Stroll through vibrant market stalls featuring handmade crafts, local produce, plants, home-baked treats, and unique gifts. Enjoy live entertainment, delicious food from the school cafĆ©, and free activities for the kids — from face painting to games and old-fashioned country fun.

Then get ready for the highlight of the day — The Great Duck Race! Thousands of bright yellow ducks will tumble down the creek in a hilarious race to the finish line, with fantastic prizes up for grabs and plenty of cheering from the banks.

It’s a day packed with family fun, fresh country air, and the warmest welcome you’ll find in the Scenic Rim.
Bring your picnic blanket, your sense of adventure — and don’t forget to ā€œback your Duck”
