Feathered friends: Shorebird adventure
Families are invited to explore the fascinating world of shorebirds through a fun and creative hands-on activity. Participants will learn about these incredible birds and their habitats while crafting their own shorebird and taking part in an engaging, interactive game that brings the birds to life.
After the activity, enjoy the environment centre’s interactive displays or wander through the stunning wetlands.
On the day:
Arrive 10 minutes before starting time to check in with staff at the environment centre.
All children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
Wear sun-safe clothing, sunscreen, fully enclosed shoes, and bring insect repellent.
Bring water and a snack if required as there are no food outlets on site.
Note: This event will go ahead in light rain. Events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.

Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult throughout.
All adults and children attending require a ticket for this event.
A ratio of 1 adult supervising up to a maximum of 4 children is required.
Maximum 5 people per booking.
