Diwali Festival of Light at Brighton Homes Arena 2026
The Diwali Festival returns to Brighton Homes Arena in 2026, bringing together a cultural celebration and an AFLW match day. Presented by the Brisbane Lions, the event is Springfield’s biggest celebration of Diwali, with family, culture and football for everyone.
The night features the Brisbane Lions Diwali Fireworks Spectacular, with a fireworks and drone show lighting up the sky. Before the first bounce, visitors can enjoy cultural performances and live music from local schools, community groups and musicians. A range of food vendors serve authentic Indian cuisine and multicultural favourites, and henna and art stations offer hands-on cultural activities for the whole family. The celebrations finish with the Lions playing AFLW under lights.
