Einbunpin Festival 2026

The Einbunpin Festival will return on Sunday, 26th July 2026, inviting the community to enjoy a full day of entertainment, activities, and celebration in the heart of Sandgate. Held annually on the last Sunday in July, this much-loved local event highlights the spirit and creativity of the Sandgate district.

First established in 1992, the Einbunpin Festival is a true celebration of the area’s unique village atmosphere, natural environment, and the rich tapestry of cultures and talents that make up the community. The festival has been auspiced by the Sandgate & Bracken Ridge Action Group (SANDBAG) since its inception and continues to be organised by a dedicated team of local volunteers.

Set around the picturesque lagoon and surrounding parklands bordered by Brighton Road, Keogh Street, Lagoon Street, and Bowser Parade, the festival offers something for everyone. Visitors can expect a vibrant mix of market stalls, live performances from local talent, games, and interactive activities for all ages.

With the ongoing support of Brisbane City Council – sponsors of the festival since 1992 – the Einbunpin Festival remains a cherished event that brings the community together to share, connect, and celebrate everything that makes Sandgate special.
