Farmyard fun day at Redcliffe Museum

Redcliffe Museum brings the charm of the countryside to the coast for a day filled with laughter and hands-on discovery. Families have the chance to meet a variety of farmyard friends through a mobile petting zoo, which features gentle calves, piglets, ducks, and miniature goats. Children can also get up close with sheep, rabbits, guinea pigs, and chickens, providing a wonderful opportunity to learn about animal care through direct interaction in a relaxed setting.

Beyond the animal encounters, the grounds come alive with creative activities to keep little ones entertained. Professional face painting and handmade balloon creations offer whimsical fun, while a classic sausage sizzle provides a welcome treat for hungry visitors.

This community gathering is designed to be accessible for all ages, offering a blend of education and play. It serves as a perfect way for parents and children to spend time together outdoors, enjoying the simple pleasures of a rural experience without leaving the bayside.
