FESTURI Annual Multicultural Music Festival – Sunshine Coast
FESTURI is a free, family-friendly multicultural music and dance festival celebrating cultural and linguistic diversity across the Sunshine Coast.
The festival brings the community together to represent and celebrate their culture, with locals invited to bring their cultural dress, artifacts, flags, emblems, music, art, dance, cuisine, and more. Throughout the day, the main stage will showcase a program of live performances from talented musicians and dancers from around the world, alongside international food stalls and unique merchandise and information stalls.
The FESTURI Kids Festival, described as the festival within the festival, gives children their very own dedicated space to enjoy, with toys, colouring, canvas painting, and games, plus activities like face painting, fibre weaving, animal petting, hat and mask making, drumming workshops, and more.
As the event is held outdoors, visitors are advised to bring a hat, sunscreen, a ground mat or portable chair, and to settle in for a full day of global celebration. In case of bad weather, updates will be shared via the FESTURI website and social media.
The FESTURI Multicultural Music Festival is a celebration of cultural diversity and community unity, offering the chance to experience the world’s music, dance, and traditions without leaving the Sunshine Coast. This fun, educational, and inclusive event is open to all ages and free to attend.
Full schedule and event details to be announced, keep an eye on the FESTURI website and social channels for updates.
