Catch Game 3 of the State of Origin on the big screen at the free Groovin’ in the Green watch party this July 2026. Held at the Wamuran Sports Complex, this family-friendly sporting event offers a stadium atmosphere for Brisbane kids and parents, complete with food trucks, free face painting, a live DJ, and plenty of space to kick a footy before kick-off.
Groovin’ in the Green – Rocks the State of Origin
Groovin’ in the Green is bringing Game 3 of the State of Origin to the big screen, with a free, family-friendly watch party that brings the stadium atmosphere right to the local community.
The event will feature a live DJ, LED performers, roving entertainment, and plenty of pre-game fun for all ages. Families can bring a footy for a kick, enjoy free face painting and colouring-in activities, grab dinner from the food trucks, and settle in for a big night of rugby league under the stars. A licensed area will also be available.
Guests are encouraged to pack a picnic rug, dress in their supporter colours, and join the community for an exciting night of live sport, local atmosphere, and State of Origin energy.
