Guide Dogs Queensland’s Open Day is back, offering a fun-filled day for the whole family to learn about the incredible work of Guide Dogs and the impact they have for people living with low vision and blindness.
Visitors are invited to watch Guide Dogs demonstrate their skills, learn about their training journey, and hear about accessibility, vision services, and how to get involved as an advocate. There will also be plenty of opportunities to meet the dogs throughout the day.
The event features food and drinks, live entertainment, jumping castles, sensory experiences, giveaways, and lots of fun and games for all ages.
Please note that unfortunately pets and non-working dogs are unable to attend, so furry friends at home should sit this one out. Guide Dogs Queensland will supply all the furry friends on the day!
