A major drawcard is the work of The Yarntopians – a passionate team of yarn-bombers originally formed by Warwick Art Gallery in 2014. Now an integral part of the festival, these talented crafters create eye-popping installations that take months to plan and build, with over 100 contributors knitting and crocheting from all corners of the country. Their colourful creations are a huge hit with visitors young and old – a must-see for crafty minds and creative hearts.
But it’s not just about the wool! The program is packed with something for everyone: workshops, exhibitions, art and craft markets, country-style breakfasts, swing dancing, and classic car displays. Music lovers won’t want to miss the Saturday Jazz Arena in the Park, a signature event held in beautiful Leslie Park on Saturday 26th July 2025 from 11am to 3pm. General admission is just $15, with free entry for children – making it a budget-friendly option for families wanting to enjoy live performances in the winter sunshine.
