Dive into a morning of free, family-friendly fun at the Lake Party at HOTA this September 2026. Perfect for Brisbane and Gold Coast parents and kids, this lakeside celebration features interactive hip-hop workshops, giant bubbles, paddle boarding, skate ramps, a goat zone, and Indigenous storytelling for an exciting community day out.

Head to the Lake Party for a morning packed with free fun for the whole family!

Watch over 200 bubbles a minute float through the air with The Bubble Canteen, jump into the Hip Hop Jam, learn to paddle board, and discover the rich Indigenous history of Evandale Park. There’s also Taiko drumming to try, skate ramps to ride, the Karmably Goat Zone to visit, and frog-inspired artworks to create.
With so much happening in one place, it’s the perfect way to spend the morning!
