Little Day Out 2025
A SPARK Festival favourite for the young and young at heart, Little Day Out is Ipswich’s signature children’s music and arts festival, packed with fun, creativity and eco-conscious energy.
With a focus on sustainability, the event is bursting with music, hands-on art experiences, delicious food trucks, and roving entertainment. This year’s highlight is “dirtgirl’s Garden Party”, a joyful musical eco-adventure led by a female-hearted, four-piece band bringing a fresh sound and “poptomistic” vibes to the stage.
Little Day Out invites festivalgoers to sing, dance, create and play with interactive activities like Community Kaleidoscope, building cubbies and fairy villages, seedpod painting, nature jewellery making, “build a bee” craft, and even a silent disco equipped with haptic vests and straps for a truly inclusive experience.
Designed especially for children aged 10 and under, this colourful day of discovery is a celebration of creativity, nature, and community.
Please note: Little Day Out is a pet-free and alcohol-free zone.
