
Make Music Month Hits Moreton Bay This June
City of Moreton Bay is set to turn up the volume this June with Make Music Month — a month-long celebration spotlighting the incredible diversity of local musical talent.
Make Music Month provides a platform for musicians to connect with their community and showcase their talents in a variety of creative ways. From live performances to workshops and jam sessions, the festival will take place across 16 Council cultural venues, including libraries, museums, and galleries.
The 2025 program will feature:
- Over 70 live gigs
- More than 160 musicians
- Genres from country to classical, folk to funk
Event Highlights
How Deep is Your Love: A Tribute to the Bee Gees — Celebrate the timeless hits of the Bee Gees at Redcliffe Museum with three incredible acts: Amber Worthington, Bradley McCaw, and the Kel Timmons Quintet.
The Smashing Bumpkins — High-energy bush dance beats with easy-to-follow steps for all ages.
TRICHOTOMY — Contemporary jazz trailblazers at Arana Hills Library.
Vixens of Fall — A country-pop trio whose debut album topped the iTunes Country Chart.
Shugorei — A percussion and electronic duo blending Japanese and Western influences, performing at Caboolture Library alongside the interactive People’s Vibraphone.
Music Studio 60 — Laid-back jam sessions at Redcliffe Library.
Highs and Lows — A performance-art fusion at Caboolture Regional Art Gallery, set within the Looking Out, Looking In exhibition.

Micro Festival Dates
Redcliffe Micro-Festival (Fri 6 – Sat 7 June): Live music, workshops, and community performances across the library, museum, and gallery.
North Lakes Micro-Festival (Sat 21 June): A full day of diverse performances and hands-on workshops.
Caboolture Micro-Festival (Sat 28 June): The grand finale with local bands, solo artists, and collaborative music-making.
