Mammoth Country Markets
The Mammoth Country Markets return this July for a huge day of shopping, entertainment, and family fun at the Bearded Dragon Hotel in Tamborine. Held twice a year, this iconic market day is one of the biggest events in the Scenic Rim and a favourite for locals and visitors alike.
With over 120 stalls to explore, the event features handmade goods, farm-fresh produce, unique gifts, live entertainment, kids’ activities, delicious food, and much more. It’s a relaxed and welcoming country day out, with something for all ages.
Event highlights include:
- Live music from local performers all day
- Over 120 market stalls featuring handmade items, homewares, art, and local produce
- Meet the animals, including donkeys, alpacas, and miniature goats
- Live reptile shows with the famous Snake Boss (10am and 2pm)
- Traditional Punch and Judy puppet shows (11am and 12pm)
- Pony rides and hands-on fun in the kids’ activity zone
- Christmas in July-themed craft and letter writing
- Food trucks, restaurant dining, and bars serving mulled cider, cocktails, and craft beer
- Free live kids shows in the ballroom
- Workshops, colouring competitions, prizes, and giveaways throughout the day
Entry and parking are free, and while registration is optional, those who register will go into the draw to win an overnight stay in a Queen Spa Room for two.
The Mammoth Markets proudly support the Tamborine Rural Fire Brigade, with a portion of event proceeds donated to this important local service, along with support for wildlife charities.
This is a true celebration of community, creativity, and country life – a fantastic day out for the whole family.
