
The Mayo Arts Festival, running since 2008 and named after sculptor Daphne Mayo, is a free, family-friendly community event celebrating the arts. It draws hundreds of visitors to St Margaret’s Anglican Girls School in Ascot, Brisbane, each year with artisan markets, art installations, workshops, food, live music, and kid-friendly attractions like rides, face painting, and an animal farm.

Offering something for all ages to enjoy, the Mayo Arts Festival attracts hundreds of visitors to browse the artisan markets and visual art installations, participate in creative workshops, savour delicious food and enjoy live music and entertainment. The amusement rides, face painting, animal farm and traditional fair style games and activities are always popular with young children.

Ride wristbands are now on sale. St Margaret’s students and friends can ride all day with an armband. Pre purchase for $40 or purchase on the day from the Merchandise Stall for $45.
