Miniature Railway Public Day – Nambour
Visitors can enjoy a ride on the miniature railway in Nambour, with trains powered by steam, battery, and petrol engines traveling nearly 1 km of track through the park.
Train rides are available every fourth Sunday of the month.
Volunteers bring their own miniature locomotives to the track to allow the public to ride on the trains. The Club also owns steam and electric locomotives and many passenger carriages.
Drinks and a sausage sizzle are available, making it a great day out for little train enthusiasts. Birthday parties are welcome in the park and the birthday boy or girl ride free all day!
Please note that enclosed shoes must be worn to ride on the trains.
The Society is entirely volunteer run and with everything mechanical they may sometimes experience breakdowns and delays.
