Minutia – Circus Stories in Nature
Due to the rain forecast the 13th performance has been moved to the 12th
Minutia is a free, family-friendly circus experience taking place over two nights at different locations in February 2026. Designed for children aged 5 to 13 but enjoyed by audiences of all ages, this immersive outdoor performance blends circus, nature and storytelling in a playful and imaginative way.
Audiences are invited to lie back on the grass and watch birds and aerialists soar overhead, swim alongside glowing LED jellyfish and chase floating bubbles, wriggle their toes in the grass and imagine growing as tall as a stringybark gum. Throughout the performance, there are opportunities for audience members to join in and play, making each show a unique shared experience.
This is a free event with no tickets or bookings required. Visitors are encouraged to bring picnic rugs or camp chairs for seating. As the performances are held outdoors, should dress appropriately for the conditions and bring insect repellent, as mosquitoes may be present. The second event is part of BIG LOVE – 90 Years of the Walter Taylor Bridge event.
Minutia offers a magical way for families to experience live circus in nature and enjoy an evening of creativity, movement and wonder in their local park.
