Kids of Moreton Bay, it’s time to unleash your inner monster and embark on an unforgettable adventure during the April school holidays! Join the epic battle of Monster Siege, where kids take on the role of fearless defenders against their mischievous foes—the adults, also known as the dreaded Slobbers.
The mission is simple but daring: protect magical rubber ducks from the adults’ onslaught. Armed with pool noodle arrows and strategic teamwork, kids will join forces to defend their treasures. Watch out for King Slobber, the cunning leader of the adults, who has plenty of tricks up his sleeve. With guidance from the Game Master, kids must work together to claim victory!
The day is packed with plenty of free activities for kids and parents to enjoy, including:
– Designing superhero masks
– Creating cosplay armour and battle gear
– Monster face painting
– Making colourful pom-poms to cheer on your team
– Exploring a pop-up gallery for sticker prizes
– Investigating museum artefacts with white gloves
– Crafting personalised badges for the battle
– Competing in a robot showdown using robotics and cardboard

Morning Session
9:00am – 10:30am: Monster Siege play and explore mini-games and target practice
9:00am – 11:00am: Creative activities with gallery, museum, and library teams
10:30am – 11:00am: Monster Siege workshop and warm-up
11:00am – 12:00pm: The Battle begins! Cheer on the ultimate showdown
Afternoon Session
1:00pm – 2:30pm: Monster Siege play and explore mini-games and target practice
1:00pm – 3:00pm: Creative activities with gallery, museum, and library teams
2:30pm – 3:00pm: Monster Siege workshop and warm-up
3:00pm – 4:00pm: The Battle begins! Cheer on the ultimate showdown
Spectators won’t miss out on the fun either! Grab pom-poms, face paint, and banners to cheer your team to victory from the sidelines. Your energy and chants can influence the game, so get loud and proud!
Food and drinks will be available at the café throughout the day, making it easy to keep the energy up.
