
Moreton Bay Central Fire Station Open Day
**Explore Moreton Bay’s Newest Fire Station: Open Day This Weekend**
This Saturday, Moreton Bay Central Fire Station, located at 12 Steel St, Narangba, is hosting a special open day. From 11am to 1pm, visitors can tour the station and explore major firefighting appliances.
The community will have the opportunity to meet the local urban and auxiliary fire crews, learn about the equipment used in emergencies, and enjoy a complimentary sausage sizzle.
QFES Acting Inspector Tony Laurie has announced that a brand new firefighting appliance will be on display, expected to arrive this week. Additionally, an aerial platform from Hendra Fire Station and an emergency tender from Chermside will be showcased.
The event will also feature a kitchen simulator demonstration, showing how fat and oil fires can ignite and the best actions to take in such emergencies.
Approximately 16-18 staff members will be available to answer questions and provide valuable information about fire safety. Everyone is welcome to attend and take advantage of this informative and engaging event.
