Movie Under the Stars @ Southport – Harold and the Purple Crayon
There’s no better way to enjoy an evening than relaxing outdoors with a movie under the stars. The City of Gold Coast’s Movies Under the Stars program offers free, family-friendly entertainment at locations across the city from September 2024 to April 2025.
Families and friends are encouraged to pack a picnic or explore the local food options while soaking up the community atmosphere in a beautiful open-air setting.
Tickets are not required to attend. However, guests can choose to ‘reserve a spot’ via Eventbrite to receive event updates and reminders.
Movie : Harold and the Purple Crayon
Inside of his book, adventurous Harold (Zachary Levi) can make anything come to life simply by drawing it. After he grows up and draws himself off the book’s pages and into the physical world, Harold finds he has a lot to learn about real life – and that his trusty purple crayon may set off more hilarious hijinks than he thought possible. When the power of unlimited imagination falls into the wrong hands, it will take all of Harold and his friends’ creativity to save both the real world and his own.
