Mulch Minion Trail 2026
The Minion Trail returns, running from Monday 28 September through to Monday 5 October. Held annually in the cane fields of the Gold Coast, this much-loved community event transforms sugar cane mulch bales into colourful Minion-themed sculptures, creating a trail of fun for families to discover during the school holidays.
Residents, community groups, and local businesses take part by crafting imaginative Minion figures from sugar cane mulch and other materials. These creations are then displayed along a designated trail through the cane fields and surrounding suburbs, including Yatala, Stapylton, Jacobs Well, and Norwell. Families can drive or walk the route to spot each Minion, making it an interactive way to explore the region while enjoying some holiday fun.
The trail map is now available on the event’s Facebook page, so visitors can plan their adventure and experience the full display of creativity on show.
