Multicultural Moon Festival 2024 – Mooloolaba
The fourth annual Multicultural Moon Festival is set to be an unforgettable evening of family fun, culture, and celebration. This free event is open to everyone, offering a welcoming atmosphere where the community can come together under the moonlit sky.
There’s something for everyone at the festival, with plenty of activities to keep the little ones entertained. From exciting market stalls filled with treats and treasures to the chance to snap a photo with enchanting mermaids, the festival is full of surprises. Be sure to bring your beach chair to relax and enjoy the vibrant performances and festive atmosphere.
As the sun sets, gather with friends and family to dance in the moonlight, catch a movie, and take in the spectacular fireworks display that will light up the night. There are even raffle prizes for some lucky winners, adding an extra layer of excitement to the evening.
The market will be open from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, offering a diverse array of goods and treats. Music and live performances will take place from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm, followed by a special movie night from 6:30 pm to 8:20 pm. The grand finale will be the fireworks show at 8:30 pm, capping off a day of fun and festivities.
Co-organised by the Sunshine Coast Chinese Association and the Arts and Culture Federation of Sunshine, this year’s Multicultural Moon Festival promises to be an event you won’t want to miss. Come celebrate with us and enjoy a magical evening filled with culture, community, and entertainment.
