Celebrate the natural beauty of Bunyaville Conservation Park at this month’s “Park of the Month” event, a free family-friendly experience designed to help visitors discover, connect, protect, and enjoy one of South East Queensland’s stunning natural spaces.
Held in Bunyaville Conservation Park, the day will be filled with engaging activities, educational talks, and opportunities to connect with rangers and local experts.

– CEO’s Address & Light Morning Tea: 9:15am – 9:45am
– Welcome to Country: 9:45am – 10:00am
– Ranger Talk & Walk – Fire Management & Cadet Ranger “Ignite the Spark” (*ticket required): 10:00am – 11:00am
– Ponding Fun & Creek Health (*ticket required): 11:00am – 12:00pm
– Junior Ranger Walk – Ecosystem Engineers (*ticket required): 12:00pm – 1:00pm
– Echidnawatch Walk – Citizen Science (*ticket required): 12:00pm – 1:00pm
– Drop-In Kids’ Junior Ranger Station & Activities: 9:00am – 12:30pm
Visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the bush setting while learning about conservation, local wildlife, and ecosystems.
Tickets are required for activities marked with an asterisk and can be booked via the event page.
