QAGOMA Winter Design Market 2026
Brisbane’s most-loved winter markets are back at GOMA for two wonderful days across the Gallery of Modern Art Forecourt.
Browse a dynamic lineup of more than 80 independent designers, makers and creatives, with new vendors each day. Discover handcrafted ceramics, jewellery, homewares, textiles and clothing, and meet the makers behind your next favourite piece. With free entry and a covered space, the market goes ahead rain, hail or shine.
Make a full day of it by dropping your finds at the GOMA cloakroom and heading inside to explore the many free exhibitions on offer across QAG and GOMA. While you are there, do not miss Art Box for Kids featuring the work of Shannon Brett, a Wakka Wakka, Butchulla and Gurang Gurang artist, designer and educator. Children are invited to get creative and make their own fashion model and outfits decorated with meaningful patterns, inspired by Shannon’s unique approach to storytelling through design. The exhibition runs in the Children’s Art Centre at GOMA and is free for all ages.
Getting there is easy, with 50 cent public transport fares, onsite parking and nearby street options available. The market is also dog friendly in outdoor areas.
