Explore a brand-new playground at the Scooter Park opening in Burpengary East this September 2026. Local families can bring their bikes and scooters for a free afternoon of Ninja Warrior obstacle courses, live entertainment, Father’s Day photo opportunities, complimentary treats, and an outdoor movie screening under the stars.
Scooter Park opening at North Harbour
North Harbour is opening a brand-new playground, Scooter Park, with a free community celebration for the whole family.
The new park features a scooter track, playground and Ninja Warrior course, and the afternoon will be filled with free family fun, live entertainment, and a Father’s Day-themed photo booth, followed by an outdoor movie screening of Minions & Monsters after sunset. Free ice cream, popcorn and fairy floss will also be on offer, along with a special meet and greet with Dolphins coach Kristian Woolfe.
Families are encouraged to bring scooters, bikes and helmets, pack a picnic rug, and settle in for an afternoon of play before the movie begins.
There’ll be plenty happening from 3pm, including:
