The Old Petrie Town Steam Fair is back for another magnificent weekend celebration on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th June 2026!
Visitors can experience the charm of beautifully restored steam traction engines, steam rollers, and portable steam machines as they bring the streets of Old Petrie Town to life with chugging engines, tooting whistles, and plenty of nostalgic appeal.
The fair runs from 10am to 3pm on Saturday and 8am to 1pm on Sunday, offering a full program of family-friendly fun. A grand parade of vintage machinery will roll through town each afternoon, celebrating the marvels of mechanical history.
Guests can enjoy old tractors, vintage car displays, artisan market stalls, live music, roving buskers, and entertainment for all ages. Delicious street food will be on offer, with specialty shops, museums, and the heritage hotel also open to explore.
