TurtleCare Hatchling Club – Sunshine Coast

TurtleCare Hatchling Club invites kids aged 10-12 for an exciting school holiday event hosted by the TurtleCare Sunshine Coast volunteer team. Participants will learn about the lifecycle, biology, and fun facts of turtles that nest on the coast.

Through hands-on scenarios, children will practice data collection and discover ways to help protect these endangered creatures. Held outdoors on the beach, this teamwork-based activity encourages curiosity and creativity.

While there won’t be live turtles present, the experience is both educational and engaging. Spaces are limited to 20 participants per session.
