Union Pacific Model Railroad Club Open Day
The Union Pacific Model Railroad Club is hosting an Open Day on 8th September, offering a unique opportunity to explore one of the largest model railroad layouts in Brisbane. The layout beautifully captures a scene from the western USA, complete with towns, mountains, and an impressive array of trains.
Throughout the day, club members will be running a variety of model trains on the layout. Visitors will also have the chance to meet some of the members, who will be on hand to explain the intricacies of the hobby and provide behind-the-scenes tours for those interested in a closer look.
A special treat for the younger visitors will be the display of Thomas the Tank Engine, along with his passenger coaches, Annie and Clarabelle. Children are invited to see if they can spot their favourite characters on the layout!
