
Wamuran Lions Family Carnival
The Wamuran Lions Family Carnival is set to return in 2025 after last year’s rain cancellation and it promises to be bigger and better than ever. This much-loved community event will be a day of free family-friendly fun, local entertainment, and community spirit.
Highlights include:
- Free Rides: Giant slide, teacups, rock wall, and mini train
- Free Activities: Face painting, balloon twisting, bubble artist, and farm animal petting zoo
- Free Entertainment: Live performances by a traditional blacksmith, local schools, line dancing groups, acrobatics teams, and TaeKwonDo demonstrations
Held at the H and J Walters Recreation Area, the carnival will also feature games, food stalls, arts and crafts, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere perfect for families. Tables, chairs, and shaded areas will be available, guests are encouraged to bring a picnic rug and make a day of it.

- General Parking: H and J Walters Recreation Area (via Mountaintrack Drive)
- Accessible Parking: Wamuran Sports Complex (Disability Parking Permit required)
To support local groups, visitors are asked to bring cash and gold coins where possible to reduce merchant fees. Please note that this is an alcohol-free and dog-free event.
