Windsor State School and its vibrant community are gearing up for WindsorFest 2024, a biennial extravaganza set to light up the school grounds. This eagerly anticipated event promises a full day and evening of festivities, all aimed at supporting crucial playground renovations.
WindsorFest is more than just a school fete; it’s a celebration of community spirit and local talent. From 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, attendees can immerse themselves in a carnival atmosphere featuring thrilling rides, eclectic market stalls, and an array of food trucks offering everything from gourmet delights to traditional fair favourites.
There will be two dedicated fun zones for both the young and the young at heart. During the day, families can explore boutique market finds, indulge in delicious treats, and enjoy live performances by talented local acts and school groups. As the evening unfolds, the atmosphere transforms with ambient lighting and live music by one of Australia’s most talented vocalists, Daryl Murphy, and the band SaVvY, ensuring a perfect setting for relaxation and entertainment under the stars.
The event is organised by the Windsor State School P&C Association in collaboration with local community groups, emphasising a shared commitment to education and community welfare.
