Winter Movie Night at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary
Families are invited to enjoy a cosy afternoon and evening at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, with food, fun, and a magical movie under the stars.
From 3pm, the sanctuary will come alive with local food trucks serving delicious bites, free face painting, and a jumping castle to keep little ones entertained until 5:30pm. Guests can also enjoy coffee, pizzas, ice creams and movie snacks throughout the afternoon, and even meet Kevin the Koala. As the sun sets, guests can settle in on the Cinema Lawn for an outdoor screening of the family-favourite film The Garfield Movie (2024) from 6pm.
Visitors are encouraged to bring picnic rugs or camp chairs and settle in for a relaxed evening surrounded by nature, tasty food, and movie magic. With free entry and no bookings required, it’s a perfect way to spend an evening with family and friends.
Please note that entry to the Sanctuary itself is not included as part of this event. The sanctuary closes at 5pm. Free parking is available, well-behaved dogs are welcome on leash, and as Lone Pine is a licensed venue, BYO alcohol is not permitted.
