Brisbane families looking for a magical day out will love the Witches Night Market, returning to Petrie in August 2026. This free, family-friendly market features unique gifts, a fun costume walk, and a welcoming atmosphere. It is the perfect weekend activity for Brisbane kids and parents looking to explore an enchanting local marketplace.
Witches Night Market – Welcome to Spring
The Witches Market returns to Petrie for its Welcome to Spring edition, bringing together a marketplace full of unique supplies, quirky gifts, and all things magical in one enchanting afternoon.
Think of it as your own real-life Diagon Alley, where the shelves are actually stocked with the good stuff, no disappointing supermarket substitutes required. Whether you are after something special, a one-of-a-kind gift, or simply a fun day out with like-minded people, there is something here for nearly everyone.
A highlight of the event is the Witches Walk, a chance for market-goers to show off their magical style and be in the running to win a prize.
The Witches Market is proudly a safe and welcoming space for all, including LGBTQI+ communities, pagans, cosplayers, goths, steampunks, furries, and anyone who believes in the simple principle of harm none.
Entry is free, and well-behaved pets are welcome in the park area on a leash and under control at all times.
