AirBotix offers hands-on AI coding workshops and term courses for children aged 5-17 across Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Young creators turn their ideas into playable games and interactive apps with teacher guidance. Families can try a single workshop or explore a career theme through an eight-week Creative Code Studio course.

Learn AI Coding by Creating Games and Apps

AirBotix specialises in AI coding through project-based learning. Children learn to direct AI, test their ideas and solve problems through projects they can demonstrate after every lesson.

Teachers help children identify a problem, break it into manageable tasks and communicate clear instructions. Children make the creative decisions, question AI suggestions and check whether each change works.

Progress is visible after each class: a working feature, a new interaction or a tested improvement. Parents can ask their child to show what changed and explain why. This gives families a concrete way to follow the learning while children practise creativity, critical thinking and persistence.

Term courses are offered in Brisbane City, Calamvale and Indooroopilly, and in Parkwood on the Gold Coast. Classes at a family’s preferred venue can also be discussed.

Learning tools, coding and AI supervision

Children use AirBotix’s own AI creation platform, designed for learners under 18. Parent and child accounts are linked, allowing parents to review their child’s creative process after each session. Teachers guide AI use during lessons, helping children make clear requests, check results and improve their projects.

The balance between AI collaboration and coding varies by age. Children under 10 focus mainly on communicating ideas through clear, effective prompts. From age 10, lessons introduce coding concepts and how the projects work behind the scenes. Older students also explore introductory AI concepts, including machine learning and large language models.

AirBotix Coding Workshops and Term Courses

One-off Game Workshops

Each in-person workshop runs for 90 minutes and gives children an introduction to making a game with AI.

Build a Flappy Game with AI

Children invent a flying character and world, then create a one-tap game with obstacles and scoring. They adjust speed and gravity, test the controls and balance the difficulty before a friendly high-score challenge.

Build a Rhythm Game with AI

Children choose their characters and visual style, then create a playable music game. They experiment with beat timing, scoring and game rules, finishing with a showcase where they try each other’s creations.

AI Future Career Explorers

These Creative Code Studio courses run for eight weeks, with one 90-minute lesson each week. Children explore an interest by creating an interactive project—for example, an animal-sorting app, a savings-goal tracker or a digital mini theatre.

Five themes offer different starting points:
• Future Scientist: science tools and interactive explanations.
• Future Engineer: missions, rules and digital design.
• Future Money Planner: savings and budgeting projects.
• Future Entrepreneur: useful ideas turned into digital products.
• Future Artist: patterns, characters and interactive performances.

Projects are matched to age and experience. The career themes give coding a purpose, with children practising how to plan, build and improve a creation over the term.

Workshops and term courses are offered across Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Families can use the workshop pages to view available sessions and enrolment options, or enquire through airbotix.ai about the next term course. Confirm the date and venue before booking.

Beginner Frequently Asked Questions

Does my child need coding experience for a workshop?
No. Both workshops and term courses welcome beginners, with teaching matched to each child’s age and experience.

What are the class sizes?

Classes have 2–6 students, grouped by ages 8–10, 10–12, 12–14 and 14+. Children attend independently; parents can drop them off and do not need to stay.

What should children bring to a workshop?
A charged laptop, its charger, a mouse or trackpad, and headphones. Children use AirBotix’s own learning platform, designed for learners under 18 with safety in mind. Families receive device and setup instructions before the session.

Which format should families choose?
A one-off workshop offers a short introduction. An eight-week course gives children time to develop a themed project through weekly lessons.

Can kids access their work at home?

Children can access their projects at home and continue creating and making changes. A parent registers the account, and learning uses either the web platform or a desktop app, depending on the course.

AI usage credits are provided for course activities. Families may purchase additional credits for independent creation outside lessons, but this is optional.

Testimonials

“My child loved making a game rather than just playing one. Choosing the character and testing different ideas made the workshop feel personal. Afterwards, they were excited to show me what they had created and explain how it worked.” Daniel, parent from workshop

“The weekly projects gave my child something to look forward to. I appreciated that they were encouraged to test their ideas and make improvements, rather than simply accept what the AI produced.” Khloe, from term courses
