Caboolture Historical Village is set on 12 acres and features 70 buildings of curated displays of a bygone era. Immerse yourself in the history of early life in the local area including vehicles, machinery, school room, cottage home life, general store, and so much more.

Caboolture Historical Village is the perfect place to visit in the school holidays, with grounds that are beautifully established and a secret rainforest walk hidden in the middle of the village (you can even bring a picnic!).

Geckoes Wildlife

Tuesday 17th and Tuesday 24 September 2024

Geckoes Wildlife are joining the holiday program at the village this September!

Learn about wildlife and get up close with a meet and greet. Pat cute marsupials, an owl or tawny frogmouth, pythons, lizards and turtles (animals subject to availability on the day). Wildlife encounters run with some specific requirements to ensure the welfare of animals and the safety of guests.

In addition to the wildlife encounter, you get to see Caboolture Historical Village’s blacksmith demonstration and a whip cracking demonstration of the whips used to drive cattle in yesteryears. Enjoy a ride on the village train and a stop in at the gem club before a hot dog or sausage sizzle lunch of your choice. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the 12 acres of historical displays and buildings, so it’ll be a full day with lots of great activities to enjoy!

BRICKS 4 KIDZ Holiday Workshop

A BRICKS 4 KIDZ Holiday Workshop is the best way for kids to spend their school break in Australia!

With BRICKS 4 KIDZ models, LEGO® galore, and plenty of time for free-play, the kids are always having fun. Holiday workshops are designed for kids aged 5-11 years and are staffed by trained, screened BRICKS 4 KIDZ instructors.

In addition to the BRICKS 4 KIDZ LEGO® workshop, you get to see Caboolture Historical Village’s blacksmith demonstration and a whip cracking demonstration of the whips used to drive cattle in yesteryears.
