Youth Circus
Suitable for ages 5 – 18 years
Discover your circus superpowers in Circa Academy’s Youth Circus Program. Circus skills and fun starts with cartwheels, backflips, trapeze, acrobatics, mini-tramp, juggling, hula-hoops and silks. Circa Academy welcomes beginner to advanced participants from 4 to 18 years old to join a supportive, non-competitive environment.
Fair Play vouchers are accepted for Circa Academy’s Youth Circus Program.
Adventure Time Circus
Suitable for ages 18 months to 5 years, with a participating guardian.
Physical creativity for young children starts with Adventure Time Circus.
Roll up, roll up! Itโs time for your little acrobatโs next big adventure! With games, obstacle courses, storytelling, creativity and fun movement activities, Adventure Time Circus is the perfect introduction to circus for young people. Adventure Time Circus celebrates your childโs individuality and fosters creativity, expression and acceptance. Walk to the beat of your own drum and run away with the circus at Circa Academy.
Performance
This program is suitable for individuals aged 10 โ 21.
Your circus career starts at the home of the world-renowned Circa Ensemble. Circa Academyโs Performance takes your circus as seriously as you do. Over two sessions a week, you will learn acrobatics, aerial skills and performance techniques. You will have the opportunity to create and present performances in Brisbane and beyond.
To enrol in the Performance program, you must have an intermediate level of foundational strength, body awareness, and tumbling ability or transferable skills from dance or other sports. A small portion of this program is dedicated to aerial and speciality apparatus.

Aerial Nights – for the Mums and Dads!
Aerial Nights are suitable for individuals aged 16 and over.
Your aerial experience starts with courses from beginner to advanced across silks, trapeze, straps and lyra. Whether you are just leaving the ground or are an advanced aerialist, an Aerial Night is the best way to fly.
