Positive Behaviour Support
Immediate availability
Early Start Australia creates positive change together with parents, children and family members.
Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies can help improve the quality of life for children with developmental and behavioural disorders. A dedicated PBS plan helps children:
- build self-esteem
- improve relationships with peers and caregivers, and
- helps them to achieve greater independence.
Positive Behaviour Support helps children to have a happy and healthy life with meaningful connections. Early Start Australia’s Behaviour Support Practitioners will create a PBS plan that helps your child:
- Better communicate, develop social skills, learn self-care, and improve academic performance.
- Reduce high-risk behaviours such as aggression, property damage and self-injury.
- Strengthen relationships by involving family members and others in the process.
This creates a support team that helps your child thrive.
